  •           M.S.W. is a field based Job Oriented Course with two streams of specialization H.R.M. and Social development which includes community development, Medical & Psychiatric Social Work. The Department is well equipped, with various facilities. The students of M.S.W. have to undergo field work for two days in a week during the course. The Department conducts various out-reach activities viz; Community Service, Visits to NGOs, Mental Hospitals, correctional Institutions. Industries are arranged. One week Social Work Rural Camp, Block Placement (one Month) and Research projects are part of the course. There is a wide scope for employment opportunities for M.S.W. Graduates.

    M.S.W. CBCS - Semester Scheme
    (4 Semesters)    		 Any degree 50% marks (40% for SC/ST). Admission via entrance test held at the University 70
    Ph.D Full time (3+1yrs)
    Part time (4+1yrs)
    for Permanent Faculties only     		Minimum Master of Social Work with Minimum 55% marks. Candidates are selected through Entrance Test however, Candidates having UGC- NET, SLET or M.Phil are exempted from Entrance Test.
